Fayetteville Public Library Board
Minutes of April 12,1965
The Board of Trustees of the Fayetteville Public Library held its
regular monthly meeting at 4:00 p.m. on April 12,1965 in the board
room.In the absence of the chairman the secretary presided.

Librarians: Mrs.Hazel Deal,Mrs.arace Keith.
The report of the Board Treasurer was received,presen.ted by Mrs.
Chaney.It showed a balance on April 1,1965 of $4,105.27.
The report of the Librarian,Mrs.Hazel Deal,for March was received;
It showed a grand total circulation of 13,2.53 and registrations
of 149.The quarterly book stock report showed a total of 15,883
books on April 1,1965.
Mrs.Deal reported that there was a bad leak in the kitchen of the
meeting room,that a glass doer needed repair work,e.nd that the,ird

Mrs.Deal reported that a workshop for library trustees and others
interested in the problems of libraries in Arkansas,will be held
In three cities of the state,including Fayetteville,on May 13.,1965
from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. At this time Mrs.aretchen K.Sehenk's
report on her survey of public libraries in Arkansas will be pre-
sented and her recommendations discussed.It is important that our
board members attend.(Also see the minutes for August 10,1964.)
