Minutes of May 1001965
The Board of Trustees of the Fayetteville Public Library met in regular
monthly session at 4s00 pomeon May 1001965 in the board room.

Librarianss Mrs.Hazel Deal,Mrs.Qrace Keith.
The minutes of April 12 were read and approved.
The report of the Treasurer,Mrs.Chaney,showed a balance of $8,449.82
on May 1,1965.
The report of the Librarian,Mrs.Deal,showed that the circulation for
April was 11,243 and that there were 88nplgistrants.
Mrs.Deal reported that chair bottoms ordered.to replace faulty ones in
the meeting room had come in cartons that were badly da.maged.She ac-
knowledged receipt of the order and clearly noted on the transportation
company's statement that the cartons were damaged but that there was no
wag no ascertain just then the matter of possible damage to the chair
bottoms themselves.At Mrs.Dealts request the board members examined the
damaged cartons and read her clear statement made for the transportation
company.Mrs-.Dealfs procedure in the matter was quite in order.
The board adjourned at 4x40 p.m.
