MINUTES FOR MARCH
The Board of the Fayetteville Library met in regular session in the
Director's room March 8, 1965 with tW chairman,Mr. Webb Williams,
presiding. Others present were Mr. Ted Wylie, Mrs, Lowell Chaney,
Mrs. Hazel Deal and Mrs. Grace Keith.
Mrs. Dealhstated that attendance to the Book Fair had been good in
spite of,bad weather and unusual absenteeism -from school.
An atlas stand to hold oversized books in the Arkknsas room has been
given to the Library by the Woments Civic Club, The Civi& Club a34pv
donated a typewriter stand for use in the work room. The Secretary
was directed to send a letter of thanks to the Club.
The Library Staff requested that a pay telephone be installed in the
foyer for use of the public. Mr. Wylie offered to consult Mr. Shipley
concerning this matter.
Mr. Williams agreed to assume the responsibility of writing the pay.
roll checcks in the event that the Treasurer should be out of town or
otherwise unable to do so.
Meeting adjourned at 4:45 pm.
