Fayetteville Public Library Board
Minutes of August 10,1964
The Board. of Trustees of the Fayetteville Public Library met in regular
monthly session at 4:00 p.m.on August 10,1964 in the directors' room:.
Board members present:Chairman Webb Williams,Mrs.Lowell Chaney,
Mr.Ellis Shelton,and O.W.McMillen9Librarians:Mrs.Hazel Deal and
Mrs.Grace Keith.
The minutes of June 8,1964 were read and approved..
Mrs.Chaney's treasurerts report showed a balance of $4411.04 on hand
on August 1,1964.
Mrs.Dealls librarians report showed a circulation of 17,748 for the
month of July and 168 new registrations:139 adult and 29 children.
Mrs.Keith reported that the summer reading program had more than 500
enrolled at the present time.
