�,�TINUTES FOR FEBRUARY 1964
The Board of Trustees of the Fayetteville Library met in regular
session in the Director's room February 10, 1964 at 4:00 P. Mm
'Present were Mr. Webb Williams, PLr® OD TTo licriillen, Mrs® Lowell
Chaney, �virs, Hazel Deal and i-rs, Grace Keith.
Yira Williams reported the Internal Revenue Service had asked for
additional information concerning receipts and expenditures of the
Book Endo-vment Fund before final approvAmwatA L.
i`Jrs. Chaney presented an itemized account of the building fund from
June 1, 1961 to Dec. 31, 1964. Her report showed $41,210.27 had
been deposited to this account and. that $37, 302®55 had been spent
for equipment, improving: the premises, etc. The balance of -
.3,90b,82
is from special gifts and sale of old equipment.
in view of the fact the Twentieth Century Club has given the Library
valuable slides in excess of :x:250®OO the board agreed that the name
of -this club should be placed on the endowment plaque®
�Meribership in the Arkansas Library Association was discussed but no
-c-'-?hon was taken,
Trse Chaney suggested that a service contract for the elevator should
be considered.
i' Omo hundro submitted a request that he be -considered for the yard
work next summer.
r,'irs® Deal reported that we receive a 'getter discount on -rebinding
and purchase of books since a greater number is purchased each .year.
