FAY TTEVILLE PUBLIC LIBRARY

The Board of Trustees of the Fayetteville Library met in the director"s room
of the Library at 4:00 pm July 1, 1963. Present were Ir. Webb Williams,
I,1r Ted Wylie, Mr. 0. .L^T. McMillen, Mrs. Lowell Chaney, Mrs. Hazel Deal,
and Mrs. Grace Keith.
!',1% Williams stated A'IR. A. D. McAllister would need a list of donors
names before the Book Endowment Fund could be established. Since such a
list is unavailable Mr. Williams agreed to meet with Mr. McAllister and
Aix. Wade for further discussions.
Mr. McMillen made a mtion that the 1.''hintenence Air Conditioner Contract
with the Arkansas Western Gas Company be accepted. motion seconded by
Mrs. Lowell Chaney passed.
The Board agreed it might be advisable to buy a vacuum cleaner for better
care od the floors of the Library. , I r. Williams suggested. we ask thetv! .', Viz..,. , ✓.r-.,

B & D Janitor Supply Co. to let Imo„ --D dshaw use one of their machines
on a trial basis before final purchase.
"Los. Chaney presented a design for a plaque which would. give recognition
to donors to the Book Endowment Fund. It was suggested only the names
of those donors contributing $250.00 or more be placed on the plaque.
Mrs. Deal Re -ported Irs. Boyce Moore had resigned and asked the Boards
permission to employ Mrs. Earl i,IcCollomb to fill this vacancy inn the
staff. Permission was granted.
