MINUTES FOR FEB. 1991963
The board of the Fayetteville Public Library met at 4:00 P.M. February 19,
1963 in the Director"s room with the chairman, Mr. Webb Williams presiding.
Present were Mr. Webb Williams, Tr Ted Wylie, Mr. O.W.McM411en, Mrs. Lowell
Chaney, Mrs.Hazel Deal and Mrs. J. I. Keith.
Purpose of the meeting was to discuss problems cencerning the elevator which
has been unsatisfactory since it's installation. Mr. Williams and other
Board members agreed to meet with lir. Boyd and Mr. Segraves to determine
what would need to be done to keep the elevator in working order.
It was agreed that the Arkansas Western Gas Company be asked t 'e k the
hot air chutes of the furnace to see if a better distri.buti( A ( e
obtained.
As a part of National Library Week the Board made plans to have speakers at
meetings of various Civic Clubs of Fayetteville -to describe what the Library
has accomplished and to outline goals for the future.

increase of 4049 over January of last
Meeting adjourned at 5:15.
