The Board of the Fayetteville Library met December,28, 1961 at 4,*00 p*-I-tImil
in the offices of Mr. Warrem Segraves. Present were Mr. Webb Williams,
Mr. Ted Wylie, Mr. Ellis Shelton , Mrs. Lowell Chaney, Mr. Segraves and
Mr. J. B. Gavin, representative of the Remington -Rand Co.
ffurpose of the Meeting was to examine the contract for furniture and equip
ment for the new Library. i
A motion by Mr. Shelton, seconded by Mr. Wylie, that we accept the contraell
of $ 23t936.64 with Remington -Rand, carried. This contract includes
$18,965.64 for wooden furniture and $4*971-00 for steel book rtacks.
Meeting adjourned at % 5:45 P. A
