The meeting was called to discuss Library problems with the County
Librarian, Since she did not attend this meeting a second meeting
was called for Friday September 29 at the City Library.
Mr. McMillen moved and Mr, Shelton seconded a motion that the follow.
ing.recommendation concerning the staff be accepted:
That Mrs. Keith be promoted to fill the position left vacant by Mrs
Paulvd,ed's resignation as og Jan. 1, 1962 -with an increaseof salary
from 41 75.00 to $185.00 per month.
2. That Mrs. Carol Wright be employed with a beginning salary of $150-00
a month,this to be raisedto $160.00 per month as of Jan. 1, 1962.

3. That -Rita Ferrell be approved as a part time employee,
4. That Sallie Brooks be approved for work on Saturdays.
5. That Alice Jo Raymond be approved for work after school.
