The Fayetteville Public Library Board met on January 24,1961 at 4#000 pom*
at the First National Bank#Members present were' Mr.Webb Wams, Mr *Ted Wyliev
Vir.Ellis Shelton,Mr.Leighton Rudolph,and Mr.O.W.McMillen,
It was voted to approve the payment to Mr.Warren Seagraves. architect. the
sumzl,of $2,700 representilig the fee of approximately 25% of the cost of the
library, building

It was voted to approve the appointment of MrsoLowell Chaney as Secretary -
Treasurer to the Board until the library moves into its new building and
pay her $25*00 per month for these services,

that Judge Bruce Crider met
with the Board and expressed. apeft

It was voted to Psk the Chairman of the Board to secure legal counsel to
investigate the problems concerning the building of the Fayetteville Public
Library.
