The minutes of August 16* 1960, were approved as read and those of
October.139 19609 were approved as corrected. The treasurer reported a
balance of $4169.30 on October 11, 1960*

.Mr.Williams circulated copies of budget suggestions sho Ing the

1960 budget -and budgw based on an increase of 10., and 15 He stated that
..City comptroller Albert Jones recommended that the Board request no more
than the 1960 amiount ($7000*00) from the City at this time. Mr. Jones
suggested that if it were necessary, additi.onal funds could be*requeti' ted at
the time of the move to the new building. The treasurer pointed out that
estimated income for 1961 is $500-00 less than for 1960 due, to the cut in
the United Pand allowance* Mr*,MdMillen moved that the budget be referred
to,the Finance Committee for further study* Mr. Rudolph seconded the
motion which passed unanimously,
Following a discussion of the letter from Mrs, DelbertSwartiss Mr.
McMillen and fir, Williams were kppointed to call on her and discuss the
matter further.
Mr. Williams read Mrs. Walters' letter of resignation but the Board
took no action on the matter.
Nbeting adijourned at 6:00 Pm.
