September 10,1957
The Fayetteville Publid,"Bon met at 7:00 p.m. on September 10,1957 in the library
rooms. Mr.MeWhorter presided.
The following were present:Mr.M&Whorter,Nfrs.Cheney,Mrs.Ileal,Mrs.Watson3Yr.Greerhaw,
Mr.Rudolph,Mr.Wylie,Nx.Williams,and Mr.McMillen.
The minutes of April 16 were read and approved.
The report of the treasurer showed a balance in the bank of $4.1-8.15.
The treasurer presented a tentative budget to be submitted to the United Fund.It was
voted in view of increased salary needs to request the United Fund. Board to appropriate
to the Fayetteville Public Library the sum of $3300 for next year.
The report of the librarian showed a circulation of 9,502 for July and 8,080 for August.
The librarian reported that the summer reading program was especially good this past
summer.
