Library rooms.In the absence of the
inan,Mr.Greenhaw,presided.
Board met on December 8,1953 in the
Chairma.n,Mr.McWh.orter, the Vice -Chair -
Members present were Mr.Greenhaw,Mrs.Watson,Mrs.Chaney,Mir.Wi.lson,
and Mr.McMillen. The Librarian,Mrs.Deal,was also present.
The minutes of September 8,1953 were read and approved.
The Treasurer,Mrs.Chaney,reported a balance of $744.03 on our ac-
count in the First National Bank.
The Librarien,Mrs.Deal,reported on circulation and other matters
for the months of September,October,and November. The grand total circu-
lation for those months was 4523,5017,and 6080 respectively.
The whole matter of a general building fund was informally discussed,
but no action was taken at this time.
It was voted to close the Library from noon Thursday before Christmas
until the following Monday morning.
It was voted to give extra work to Miss Carroll Cullen during the
Christmas vacation.
