November 11,1952
The Fayetteville Public Library Board held a meeting on November 11,1952
in the Library rooms.The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m, by the
Vice-President,Mr.Greenhaw,who presided in the absence of Mr.McWhorter.
Members present were Mrs.Chaney,Mrs.Watson,Mr.Greenhaw,Mr.Wilson,Mr.Rudolph,
and Mr.McMillen. Mrs.Deal was also present.
The minutes of September 9 were read and approved.
The report of the Treasurer showed a balance of $3273.86 in the First
National Bank,at the end of October.
The report of the Librarian showed a total circulation of 4474 for Septem"
ber and 4567 for October.The total circulation for the corresponding months
of 1951 was 3852 and 3967 respectively..

Mrs.Deal reported further that Mrs.Paulsrud went to the�Library Associa-
tion meeting in Little Rock with her and others from the countyfthat .a. county-
wide meeting was to be held here for a morning session to hear a report on
the meeting;and that book displays were made before.the national elections
to show books on the presidential candidates.She also announced that the pre-
>.,paration for the display of books for Book Week,November 16-22,was being
made and also that work was progressing on the Library's vertical file on
Fayetteville,TNashington County,maps,biography,and. Arkansas,among other items.
