A regular meeting of the Board of Sign Appeals was held on Monday, August 4, 2003 at 3:45 p.m.
in Room 326 of the City Administration Building, 113 W. Mountain, Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Approval of minutes from July 7, 2003 meeting.
Green: We will reconvene the meeting of the Board of Sign Appeals.
Warrick: This affects your meeting although you do need to go through your first item of
business which is to address the minutes from the previous meeting.
Green:
Our first item on the Board of Sign Appeals is to consider the approval of minutes
from our July 76 meeting. Are there any corrections or additions that should be
made to those minutes? Hearing none, we will consider that those minutes are
approved.
SNA 03-08.00: Sign Variance (First Western Bank, pp 175) was submitted by Ken Lazenby on
behalf of First Western Bank for property located at 1676 Joyce Blvd. The property is zoned R -O,
Residential Office. The requirement is for one sign containing 16 s.f. The request is for an
additional sign with 30.71 sq.ft. proposed.
Green:
The first item on the agenda is old business which is a Sign Variance by First
Western Bank. It appears that First Western Bank is withdrawing the signage
request to be submitted. They are withdrawing the request so that they may submit
a new one and present it at the September meeting
Warrick: We are trying to work with this applicant . We were trying to eliminate a request
altogether. We may still be successful in that but they are still proposing to modify
their request and weren't ready to have it for us to provide a staff report to you.
Green: Is there any other discussion before we consider tabling this item?
Warrick: It is still on the table until you bring it off.
Green: Ok, so we will just not consider taking it off the table at this time. Is there any
other business to come before this meeting of the Board of Sign Appeals? Hearing
none, we are adjourned. Thank you.
