MINUTES OF A SUBDIVISION COMMITTEE MEETING
A meeting of the Fayetteville Subdivision Committee was held on
Thursday, September 17, 1992 at 10:30 a.m., in Room 111 of the City
Administration Building, 113 West Mountain Street, Fayetteville,
Arkansas.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Jana Lynn Britton, Jerry Allred, and
Tom Suchecki
OTHERS PRESENT: Alett Little, Chuck Webb, Harry
Gray, and Sharon Langley
LARGE SCALE DEVELOPMENT - CROSS STREET SERVICES, INC.
CHUCK WEBB - S OF VAN ASCHE, E OF HWY 112
The first item on the agenda was a request for approval of a large
scale development for Cross Street Services, Inc., to construct a
garage, presented by Chuck Webb for property located on the south
side of Van Ascher east of Highway 112. The property is zoned C-2,
Thoroughfare Commercial, and contains 2.67 acres.
In response to a question from Ms. Little, Mr. Webb pointed out the
two additional parking spaces requested at plat review.
Ms. Little presented the easement for the 36 -inch water line and
• requested it be signed prior to the Planning Commission meeting.

Mr. Allred pointed out it did not appear a drainage plan was needed
since all of the paving was complete.
MOTION
Mr. Suchecki moved to recommend approval of the large scale
development, subject to staff comments.
FINAL PLAT - WALNUT PARK ADDITION, PHASE II
DON JOHNSTON & DAVID JOHNSON - W OF SALEM, N OF PRINCETON
The next item was a final plat for Walnut Park Addition, Phase II,
located on the west side of Salem, north of Princeton, presented by
Harry Gray on behalf of Don Johnston and David Johnson. The
property is zoned R-2, Medium Density Residential, contains 5.1
acres and has 23 proposed lots.
In response to a question from Ms. Little, Mr. Gray stated it would
be difficult to set the sidewalk in due to the grade. It was also
pointed out the sidewalk needed to be connected at Salem Road.
MOTION
Mr. Suchecki moved to recommend approval of the final plat subject
to staff comments.
