A meeting of the Fayetteville Subdivision Committee was held on
Thursday, August 29, 1991 at 10:30 a.m., in Room 111 of the City
Administration Building, 113 West Mountain Street, Fayetteville,
Arkansas.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Joe Tarvin, Charles Nickle, and Jana
Britton
OTHERS PRESENT:
Don Bunn, Sharon Langley, and Doug
Hemingway
FINAL PLAT - NORTH POINT SUBDIVISION
DOUG HEMINGWAY - N OF HALL AVE., E OF HWY 71 BYPASS
The only item reviewed by the Committee was a request for approval
of a final plat for North Point Subdivision, represented by Doug
Hemingway on behalf of the Mcllroy Bank. The property, consists of
5.82 acres with 8 lots proposed. The property is zoned C-2,
Thoroughfare Commercial.
Mr. Bunn explained there were no comments from the plat review
meeting; all improvements had been completed. He pointed out the
lots were small but the setbacks could be reduced with landscaping.
In response to a question from Ms. Britton, Mr. Hemingway explained
that the adjoining property was farm land but, at some point in the
future, Point Circle could be extended should they need to do so.
Ms. Britton stated she believed it was important that the street
not be a dead end.
MOTION
Mr. Nickle moved to recommend approval to the Planning Commission.
Ms. Britton seconded the motion.
The motion passed 3-0-0.
The meeting adjourned at 10:40 a.m.
