MEMBERS PRESENT: Chaiiman Don Hunnicutt and Elizabeth Crocker. MEMBERS ABSENT: David Williams and Newton Hailey. OTHERS PRESENT: Gail Mainard and Bobbie Jones. Chairman Don Hunnicutt called the meeting to order. The only item for discussion was the final plat of Meadowridge Subdivision, Phase II, located on the West side of Old Missouri Road MEADOWRIDGE SUBDIVISION, PHASE II Final Plat South of Zion Road. I. B. I., Inc., is the owner and developer. Gail Mainard was present to represent the developer. The fact that Street Superintendent Clayton Powell and Sanitation Superintendent Wally Brt had requested that a cul de sac be constructed on Sunflower Circle North of Frazier Terrace was discussed. Mr. Mainard said that he did not feel that the comments submitted by Don Bunn and the utilities representatives on this matter were serious He pointed out that they were constructing Frazier through the radius on the West side of the intersection and constructing Sunflower through the radius on the North side of the intersection. This would allow a great deal of room for turning around. Bobbie Jones pointed out that the contribution for parks is applicable to this phase of the subdivision. It had not been applicable to Phase I because the preliminary plat was approved prior to the adoption of the ordinances requiring the parks dedication or cash in lieu of land. Don Hunnicutt moved that this final plat be recommended to the Planning Commission for approval: (1) With the Plat Review Committee comments; (2) the name of Sunflower Circle be shown on the plat for the North-South street in both phases; (3) The plat be corrected to show the location of all property pins. The latter two changes are to be made in the plat prior to the Planning Commission meeting on July 13. Elizabeth Crocker seconded the motion. It passed unanimously (2-0).
