Administration Building, Fayetteville, of the City Planning Commission was held , in the Board of Directors Room, City Arkansas. MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman Ernest Jacks, Bill Kisor, Newton Hailey, Larry Wood. MEMBERS ABSENT: Keith Newhouse. OTHERS PRESENT: Bobbie Jones, Angie Medlock, Steve Krysowaty. Chairman Ernest Jacks called the meeting to order. Newton Hailey made a motion to approve the minutes of the May 22, 1978 Subdivision Committee meeting. Bill Kisor seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. MINUTES The first item for consideration was the approval of the NORTHWEST ACRES final plat of Northwest Acres Subdivision, Phase I, FINAL PLAT located North of Highway 16 West, west of Ruple Lane; Highway 16 West Ray Rastall, developer. This item was tabled February 13, 1978, until the rezoning petition was finalized. The City Board of Directors rezoned the property to R-2, Medium Density Residential District on April 4, 1978 with a Bill of Assurance being submitted that only duplexes would be built on the lots. Steve Krysowaty, Milholland Engineering, was present to represent. Mr. Jacks asked Bobbie Jones why the developer needs to show the maximum number of dwelling units on the plat. Bobbie Jones said she would like to have this on the plat for the benefit of the utility companies. Mr. Jacks noted that the dimension on the north side of the east part of Lot 3, Block J has been shown. He said they need to dimension each side of the north/south easement running through the middle of the property as 122 feet. Bobbie Jones noted that at the last Subdivision Committee meeting, they had required a street light at every intersection and required sidewalks to be built on Highway 16 West. Bill Kisor recommended that they take this on to the Planning Commission with the following stipulations: 1) show the maximum number of living units on the plat; 2) a street light be required at every intersection including the intersection of Highway 16 West; 3) sidewalks will be required. on Highway 16; 4) meet all Plat Review comments, and 5) no sidewalks or street construction north of Franciscian Trail. The only other item for discussion was the approval of the large scale development plan for a new terminal building to be located south of the existing terminal facilities at Drake Field Airport. Bobbie Jones stated that this should not have been on the asked that they table it until the June 26 meeting. Bill Kisor made a motion to table the large scale development plan for the new terminal building. Newton Hailey seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
