The only item to be discussed was the proposed revisions for Summer Hill Racquet Club, to be located inside the proposed Summer Hill Subdiv- ision. Mr. Bill Meadows was present to represent. SUMMER HILL RACQUET CLUB Inside Summer Hill Subdivision Proposed Revisions Mr. Lieberenz said that the Planning Commission approved a layout for the Racquet Club, which is located North of Stubblefield Road. They were given a variance in setback from 100' to 50' from the boundaries. The enclosed tennis court was in the center of the complex. Now they have changed this. That is why he is bringing this to the Committee, he feels that this is a major enough change. He said that Mr. Meadows, Helen Edmiston, and himself met with Mr. Grimes and they want to get started on this right away, so they can beat the weather. The subdivision will have to go to the City Board; all they have to do is to approve the subdivision. They are changing the location of the clubhouse, indoor tennis courts, swimming pool, and parking. He feels that the Committee should have the last say on large scale developments. Bill Kisor said that he sees no problems with this. Bill Meadows said that the major reason for relocating is because the land slopes. Chairman Jacks said that they need to submit a detailed drawing which shows parking spaces, landscaping, etc. Chairman Jacks wanted to know what they are trying to get started (construction). Mr. Meadows said that they want to start the inside court. Larry Wood said that he sees no problems with this. Chairman Jacks said that his feeling is that the concept is o.k., but he will have to show plans. He said that he can pour slabs in the process, and he would not object. Mr. Lieberenz said that he can go ahead and issue a building permit if they approve this. Chairman Jacks wanted to know if they are asking for an "opinion." Mr. Lieberenz said that they are asking for an opinion. Chairman Jacks said that he likes the general concept; however, he needs to bring in a revised large scale development plan. Everyone concurred with Chairman Jacks. The meeting was adjourned at 8:35 A.M. 3
