The first item for discussion was the proposed amendment to the HYLAND PARK -PHASE II
Preliminary Plat for Hyland Park Subdivision. The proposed Preliminary Plat
amendment constitutes a Preliminary Plat for Phase II of Hyland
Park and involves a change in the layout of streets and lots.
The dead-end street exceeds the maximum length for a dead-end street; the street lights
were not spaced according to the, regulations and Canterbury Road exceeds the maximum
length for a City block.
The Committee was prepared to recommend that the preliminary plat for Hyland Park,
Phase II be approved with the condition that the street lights be placed every 300 ft.
and the maximum length of the dead-end street and the maximum length of the City block
be waived by the Planning Commission.
The next item for discussion was the revision to the approved
preliminary plat of Bogan, Eason, Sweetser Subdivision.
This revision includes an additional 9.48 acres not included
in the earlier preliminary plat of Bogan, Eason, Sweetser
Subdivision.
BOGAN, EASON & SWEETSER
Revision to the
Preliminary Plat
Bobbie Jones pointed out that she found a 100 ft. discrepancy on the first plat and
there will need to be a change in some easements because of that. SWEPCO needs
easements between Lots 2 & 3 in Blocks 6 & 7.
The Committee was prepared to recommend this to the Planning Commission for approval.
The next item for discussion was the request by Leonard Kendall LEONARD KENDALL
/J for waiver of subdivision requirements for property located in the Subdivision Waiver
Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 29, T -17-N,
R -30-W (outside the City; but inside the Fayetteville Planning Area).
No firm recommendation was decided upon for this.
The last item for discussion was the proposed addition to
attach the bandroom at Fayetteville High School to the main
building.
