HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-10-18 - MinutesMINUTES OF A SUBDIVISION COMMITTEE MEETING The Subdivision Committee of the Fayetteville Planning Commission met at 1:30 P.M., Monday, October 18, 1971, in the Building Inspector's Office, City Administration Building, Fayetteville, Arkansas. Members Present: Ernest Jacks, Helen Edmiston, Harold Lieberens. Members Absent: L. M. McGoodwin. The first item reviewed was the proposed Final Plat of Blocks 1, 21 92 and Adjoining Streets of A W Realty Subdivision. Mr. Lieberena said A W REALTY SUBD, there were a few minor corrections to be made before the meeting. The Final Plat question of the desirability of having the connection to Highway 71 Blocks 1,2,9 & shown on the plat was discussed. Mr. Jacks wanted this to be discussed Adjoining Streets by the Planning Commission. He also requested that a copy of the preliminary plat be available at the Planning Commission meeting. The second item reviewed was the proposed Final Plat of Thrasher - May Addition, a Re -plat of Block 2 and Part of Block 3 of Parker's THRASHER -MAY ADD. Plat of Valley View Addition. Mr. Lieberens noted the few minor Final Plat corrections the engineer will have made before the Planning Commission meeting A Subdivider's Contract has been prepared to insure the completion of the improvements. The Committee wanted to have clarified the ownership of the South portion of Lot 3. The third item reviewed was the revised large scale development plan submitted by Kenny Bell. The Committee noted each change KENNY BELL which had been made. The Committee requested additional information L.S.Develooment • regarding (1) parking, (2) loading areas, (3) distance of driveway from East property line, (4) outdoor advertising planned, (5) location of existing utilities, (6) dimension of proposed utility easement, and (7) indicate paved areas for parking, driveways, etc. They requested the "check list" be followed more closely on all large scale developments. The last item reviewed was a revision of a large scale development plan and conditional use request previously approved for Seventh Day SEVENTH DAY Adventist Church on Highway 265. The only revision proposed is to ADVENTIST CHURCH leave an existing barn, remodel it, and use it for storage of their L.S.Development charity work. The original plan had indicated the barn would be torn Revision down. The meeting was adjourned at 2:00 P.M. 5')
