• The Subdivision Committee of the City Planning Commission met at 9:20 P.M.,
Thursday, August 19, 1971, in the Office of City Planning, City Administration
Building, Fayetteville, Arkansas,
Members Present: Ernest Jacks, L. M. McGoodwin, Harold Lieberenz.

The Committee discussed the proposed Leverette Garden Mobile Home Park.LEVERETTE GARDEN
The Plat Review comments were reviewed. The plans as presented do not MOBILE HOME PARK
include design plans on water, sewer, and drainage which must be prepared
before the City Engineer can approve completely.
The City's policies for metering of water service to apartments and
duplexes was discussed. A single meter for each�`apartment;building actually
makes for lower water and sewer rates per dwelling unit.
The Preliminary Plat of the proposed Johnson Road Addition was discussed. JOHNSON ROAD
Mr. McGoodwin questioned whether an 8 -inch water line is really necessary ADDITION -
to serve -a'6-inch fire hydrant. Mr. Lieberenz noted the frontage on the Prelimina Plat
lots around the cul-de-sacs Lsa;less than 70 ft. Redesigning to obtain
70 ft. frontage on each lot would probably lose one lot on each cul-de-sac.
The Preliminary Plat of the proposed Brookside East Subdivision was BROOKSIDE EAST
discussed next. 4r. Lieberenz also noted cul-de-sac frontage problems SUBDIVISION -
on this. Mr. Jacks felt the cul-de-sacs should be pulled back off the _Preliminary Plat
proposed Township Road. ins. McGoodwin said there must be an opening to
• the North, somewhere.
