HomeMy WebLinkAbout1970-09-14 - MinutesMINUTES OF A SUBDIVISION COMMITTEE MEETING • The Subdivision Committee of the Planning Commission met at 9:30 A.M., Monday, September 14, 1970, in the Office of City Planning, City Administration Building, Fayetteville, Arkansas, Members Present: Roy Clinton, Ernest Jacks, Mrs. Helen Edmiston. The matter for review at this meeting was a large-scale development plat proposed by Carl Tune for his property located North of North Street and on the East side of Leverett Avenue. Mr. Tune desires CARL TUNE to erect a building to house a plumbing supply dealer. IARGE-SCALE DEVELOPMENT The Plat Review Committee had looked at the plans on September 11. Southwestern Electric Power Company stated that this building could be served from pole lines along Leverett Street; however, before any other development is done in this area utility easements will have to be given. The Committee noted that much of the information called for on a large scale development plat was not given. They stated they were not prepared to make a recommendation to the Planning Commission until all the information is submitted. Among other information requested is: 1. Curb cuts or access openings, size and location. • 2. Additional street dedication to meet Major Street Plan. 3. 501 building setback line from new ROW, 4. Layout of parking, drives, and drainage. 5. Limit number of parking spaces on West side of buildings to 5, or screen parking area from residential property to the West. 6. Will buildings have common wall?
