• MINUTES OF A SUBDIVISION COMMITTEE MEETING
The Subdivision Committee of the City Planning Commission met at
4:00 p.m., Friday, May 28, 1965, in the City Planning Office in the
City Administration Building.
PRESENT: Suzanne Lighton, Chairman
Bryan Walker
J. A. Vizzier, Planning Consultant
The preliminary subdivision plat of SMYTH ADDITION filed by Richard
Walden was discussed. J. A. Vizzier gave an up to date report on the
problems involved.
After checking the preliminary plat, the Subdivision Committee was
prepared to call to the Planning Commission's attention and recommend
the correction of the below items:
1. Topography contour map or some means of checking the elevation
at regular intervals,*
2. North arrow to be correctly located. (Arrow is up side down
in relation to printing and ,_•
conflicts3. Buckner -Braden Road is to be used in place of "Crossover Road.',
4o The street named "Mockingbird Lane,, is to be changed because
it name in the City of
subdivision5o Name of "SKrffl ADDITION"
pronunciation is the same as existing "SMITH ADDITIONoll
respectively.6. Mockingbird IAum and Lover Is Lane are to be extended to the
south and east property lines
temporary7. Streets are to have 50 foot rights of way with
vehicular ... _ with 50 foot radius.
8o An additional 20 foot easement requested by the gas company
requestedbetween lots 5 and 6 and the water department
extendedeasement for water main be
