• MINUTES CF A SUBDIVISION COMMITTEE MEETING
A special meeting of the Subdivision Committee of the City Planning
Commission and the Street Committee of the City Council was held in the
City Council Room in the City Administration Building at 3:00 p.m.,
Monday, April 5, 1965.

Mrs. Samuel Siegel

Arnold Christie, Chairman of the Street Committee of the City Council,
turned the meeting over to J. A. Vizzier who explained the history of
the preliminary subdivision plat of W. G. Shipley Addition.
• J. A. Vizzier stated that there were two major problems:
1. The width of Sang Avenue; and
2. The kind of improvement for Sang Avenue,
The Subdivision Comittee of the Planning Commission had recomended
on January 12 that:
1. Sang Avenue be accepted with 35 foot width and be paved,
curbed and guttered and the west edge of the pavement be
put on the fence line; and
2. All other streets in the subdivision be graveled.
After discussion, the following decision was made:
1. A complete preliminary plat is to be filed and is to
include Sang Avenue and the property owned by Siegels,
Schiewetz and Roberts;
2. All property owners are to sign the preliminary plat;
• 3. Three streets in the W. G. Shipley Addition are to be
graveled --Shipley Drive, Grace Drive and Hotz Drive.

4. Sang Avenue width and improvement problems are to be presented
• to the City Council for action.
There being no further business, the special meeting was adjourned.
