HomeMy WebLinkAbout1965-01-12 - Minutes• MINUTES OF A SUBDIVISION COMMITTEE MEETING The Subdivision Committee of the Planning Commission met at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 12, 1965, in the Office of City Planning in the City Administration Building. PRESENT: Susanne C. Lighton, Chairman J. A. Vizzier, Planning Consultant Bob Battenfield The plat had been submitted to the utility companies. All easements shown on the preliminary plat were satisfactory with the various companies. W. C. Smith, Water Superintendent, requested the proposed 6 inch Water main be put on the south side of the proposed Arrowhead Street. The Committee suggested that the lot division problem be presented to the Planning Commission for discussion but that consideration be given to waiving the require- ments of the preliminary plat and that Mr. Otis Stobaugh submit the final plat. W. G. Shipley plat was discussed. A brief history of the pre'SET-ary Additionplat of the W. G. Shipley was related at the meeting. After discussion, the Subdivision Committee recommended that; 1. Smith to determine if the City of Fayetteville had any easements for water mains or rights of way for streets between the City property to the west and Hartman Avenue to the east.
