HomeMy WebLinkAbout1964-12-15 - Minutes0 MINUTES OF A SUBDIVISION COMMITTEE MEETING The Subdivision Committee of the Planning Commission met at 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, December 15, 1964, in the Office of City Planning in the City Administration Building. Vizzier, Planning permitThe first item discussed was the question on whether or not the creation of more than one lot out of an wdsting parcel would interfere with future subdivision of property east of Highway 71 South and south of Twenty Second Street or surrounding properties, I Paul E. Sullins had requested a .. property which .: not been subdivided. The subdivision regulations permit the building inspector to decide if the creation of one lot will interfere with future development. (This decision had been made by Harold E. Lieberenz, City Building Inspector, when building permit No. 5388 was issued Februar7 3. 1964). However, if more than one lot is involved, the Planning Commission is to determine if the proposed lots will interimm fare with future subdivisions and development. After briefly discussing the request of Mr. Paul E. Lots 303 31 and 32 have double street frontage which is not desirable. 2. The proposed streets in the subdivision are not named. 3. All of Letson Clark's property should be shown on the preliminary plat and has not been shown. 4. The 20 feet in the northeast corner which Letson Clark has dedicated for street purposes is not ihown on the plat. However, the following items were in compliance: le The streets located south and east of existing Clark Street and the proposed now street, running more or less parallel to said Clark Street and said proposed street, have been extended to the boundary of the adjoinin property. 2o The lot line between lot 8 and lot 14 should be extended in a southwesterly direction to the street line. 3.
