Lighton, Chairman Bryan walker James A. Vizzier Bob Battenfield The preliminary plat of REVISED PRELIMINARY PLAT OF TOMLYN VALLEY VIEW ADDITION dated October 25, 1964, filed by Letson Clark was referred to the Subdivision Committee on November 10, 1964, to give further study and to report to the Planning Commission as soon as possible. The preliminary plat which was submitted to the Office of Planning by the engineer on November 5, 1964, was discussed. During the meeting there were several items which were noted: 1. After checking the topography map the Subdivision Committee and the Planning Consultant were in accord on the location of a collector street which would follow the terrain along • the side (east) of the hills in a north -south direction. Letson Clark's subdivision would not be involved as the collector street will be at a lower level. 2. Lots 30, 31 and 32 have double street frontage. The street to the south of the above three lots should be eliminated as presently shown on REVISED PRELIMINARY PLAT dated October 25, 1964, and relocated farther south and east. Double street frontage is not desirable. 3. The proposed streets in the subdivision are not named. 4. The streets located south and east of existing Clark Street and the proposed new street, running more or less parallell to said Clark Street and said proposed street, should be extended to the boundary of the adjoining property. ARTICLE III, G. Streets, 6. — Codified Copy of Subdivision.Regulations. 5. All of LeMon Clark's property should be shown on the preliminary plat and that portion which he proposed to develop immediately be shown on the final plat. (A portion of the southeast section is not shown as being developed now or in the future.) 6. The lot line between lot 8 and lot 14 should be extended in a southwesterly direction to the street line. 7. There is an error in contour lines on topography map. 8. The preliminary plat should be submitted to all utility companies for comments; this submission for remarks being made known in writing. (Three high pressure gas mains are not noted upon the plat.) 9. All information needed upon the preliminary plat and requested • in -the subdivision regulations has not'been shown upon the plat. SJ • There was also discussion by the committee members of other items which needed to be checked. E I 1. LeMon Clark stated that he had dedicated 20 feet for street purposes on the east side of his proposed subdivision. This 20 feet is shown on the City Atlas as being located on Anthony DePalma's property. (This should be checked on the Original Plat of Tomlyn Valley View Addition.) 2. There are not any blocks within the subdivision. The lots on that portion shown begin with Lot 8 and go to Lot 33, 3. Lot 11 has been sold by Letson Clark according to the des- cription of Lot 11 in the REVISED PRELIMINARY PLAT OF TOMLYN VALLEY VIEW ADDITION dated October 25, 1964; this should be checked to make sure all dimensions are the same. The Subdivision Committee felt that a recommendation to the Planning Commission was ready to be given at the public hearing to be held Tuesday, November 17, 1964. There was no further business; the meeting was adjourned. (SEE 11INUTES OF THE NOVEMMI 17, 1964, MEETING OF TEE PLANNING COIMSSION.)
