STREET COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA
The City of Fayetteville Street Committee will be meeting in Room 1 I 1 of City Hall at 4:30 pm
on Thursday, June 4, 2009. The following topics proposed for discussion at the committee
meeting include:
1 . Call meeting to order by Chairman Robert Ferrell.
2. NORTHWOOD STREET EXTENSION: Discussion of extension of Northwood Street as part of
Twin Creeks Village, Phase 11, in CMN Business Park, Phase III.
3. TOWNSHIP STREET IMPROVEMENTS : Review of bids for construction received on May 21 ,
2009.
4. GARLAND AVENUE (HIGHWAY 112 IMPROVEMENTS): Discussion of typical cross section
elements.
5. COLLEGE AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS: Project update and budget review.
6. COLLEGE AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS: Discussion of sidewalk easement acquisition by
condemnation for property at the southeast corner of Maple and College Ave. owned by Mid
America Management Associates.
7. PARKING METERS ALONG BLOCK AVENUE: Discussion regarding possible removal of
parking meters along Block Avenue, from Meadow to the Downtown Square.
8. DICKSON STREET MEDIAN: Discussion regarding the existing median in Dickson Street, near
the Post Office.
9. WYMAN ROAD TRAFFIC ISSUE: Discussion of traffic on Wyman Road near Stonebridge
Intersection.
10. General Update of the Transportation Bond Program.
11 . Scheduling of the next Street Committee Meeting. Staff recommends scheduling the next meeting
on June 30, 2009 after the City Council Agenda Session.
