STREET COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA
The City of Fayetteville Street Committee will be meeting in Room 326 of City Hall at 5 : 15 pm
or immediately following the City Council Agenda Session on Tuesday, April 28, 2009. The
following topics proposed for discussion at the committee meeting include:
1 . Call meeting to order by Chairman Robert Ferrell.
2. UPPER SCULL CREEK DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS: Discussion of the drainage study for
Upper Scull Creek and review of construction priorities.
3 . General Update of the Transportation Bond Program.
4. HIGHWAY 16 IMPROVEMENTS: Review of preliminary plans prepared by the Arkansas
Highway and Transportation Department for widening Highway 16 between College Avenue and
Stonebridge Road.
5 . MOUNT COMFORT ROAD-CONTRACT 2: Discussion of bids received for Contract 2. (Bid
opening scheduled for April 28, 2009 at 2 pm.)
6. MOUNT COMFORT ROAD-CONTRACT 2: Discussion of a resolution authorizing the City
Attorney to seek condemnation on certain lands owned by Aaron Watson and Patricia Ann
Watson on the Mount Comfort Road Improvement Project, Contract 2.
7. HIGHWAY 71B RELOCATION PROJECT: Discussion of bids received for Relocation of
Highway 71 B near the Fayetteville Executive Airport. (Bid opening scheduled for April 28, 2009
at 11 am.)
8. Scheduling of the next Street Committee Meeting.
