STREET COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA
The City of Fayetteville Street Committee will be meeting in Room 219 of City
Hall at 4:30 P.M. on Monday, August 20, 2007. The following topics proposed for
discussion at the committee meeting include:
1 . Call Meeting to Order by Chairman Lioneld Jordan
2. Approval of the minutes from the August 6, 2007 Street Committee meeting.
3 . Transportation Bond Program Items:
A. Presentation of the comments from the August 2, 2007 public meeting for the Cato
Springs Road Improvement Project and discussion of authorization to proceed with final
design and right-of-way acquisition. This item was tabled at the August 2, 2007 Street
Committee meeting for further discussion.
B. Discussion of the intersection of Vandeventer Avenue and Clebum Street.
4. Discussion of the Downtown Square Sidewalk Rehabilitation project and the possible future
conversion of East Avenue, Center Street, Mountain Street, and Block Avenue from one-way to
two-way as recommended by Dover-Kohl in the Downtown Master Plan.
5. Presentation by the owners of the Bank of America and the Cosmopolitan Hotel building of
proposed improvements within the East Avenue right-of-way.
6. Scheduling of the next Street Committee Meeting.
7. Adjourn
