Ms. Little explained the Powerhouse Restaurant had contacted her requesting
permission to have a walkway from the rear (north side) of the restaurant across the
railroad tracks to the east. She read a letter from the restaurant owner describing
the walkway.
Mr. Jackson expressed concern that they had not installed a fire hydrant he had
requested.
Ms. Little stated that would be a requirement to allow them to have the walkway. She
asked the utility company representatives if they would check to see if any utilities
were impacted and, if so, notify her.
Mr. Franklin stated he would check the ADA Manual regarding pedestrian crossings
at railroad tracks.
FINAL PLAT - WALNUT PARK ADDITION, PHASE II
DON JOHNSTON & DAVID JOHNSON - W OF SALEM, N OF PRINCETON
The next request was for review of a final plat for Walnut Park Addition, Phase II,

behalf of Don Johnston and David Johnson. The property is zoned R-2, Medium
Density Residential, contains 5.1 acres and has 23 proposed lots.
The utility company representatives had no comments.
Mr. Gray noted they needed to have the sidewalk brought around the cul-de-sac and
have the developer build it since it was on city park property.
Ms. Little requested the sidewalk be set in four feet if the topography allowed.
RANDY ALLEN - STREET DEPARTMENT
Mr. Allen requested there be handicap access at the end of the streets.
