MINUTES OF A PLAT REVIEW MEETING
A meeting of the Fayetteville Plat Review Committee was held on
Thursday, November 7, 1991 in Room 111 of the City Administration
Building, 113 West Mountain Street, Fayetteville, Arkansas.

FINAL PLAT - WOODVIEW ESTATES SUBDIVISION
LARRY HAINES - W OF SASSAFRAS HILL RD, N OF HWY 45
The only item on the agenda was a request for approval of a final
plat for Woodview Estates Subdivision located outside the city
limits, west of Sassafras Hill Road and north of Highway 45. The
subject property contains 31.85 acres with 11 lots. Mr. Mel
Milholland appeared to represent the owner, Larry Haines.
Mr. Milholland stated everything was complete except the chip and
seal. He explained that would be completed as soon as weather
permitted.
SHARON LANGLEY - PLANNING DIVISION
Ms. Langley stated Perry Franklin, Traffic Division, had contacted
her with concerns regarding the length of the cul-de-sac and street
light locations being noted on the plat.
DON BUNN - CITY ENGINEER
Mr. Bunn pointed out that final plat was too late to do anything
about the length of the cul-de-sac.
Mr. Milholland stated they did not have street lights.
Mr. Bunn stated he had no comments. In response to a question from
Mr. Milholland, he explained zoning regulations would not apply
since the subject tract was outside the city limits. He further
explained that, since this tract was quite a way from the city
limits, the county regulations would apply. He stated had the
subdivision been close to the city limits, the city subdivision
regulations would have applied.
None of the utility companies had comments regarding the plat.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:10 a.m.
