HomeMy WebLinkAbout1989-12-21 Minutes• • • MINUTES OF A PLAT REVIEW NESTING A meeting of the Fayetteville Plat Review Committee was held on Thursday, December 21, 1989 in Room 111 of the City Administration Building, 113 West Mountain Street, Fayetteville, Arkansas. UTILITY REPRESENTATIVES- Tom McElroy, Rick Evans, L.O. Ferguson and Jim Crownover CITY REPRESENTATIVES• Elaine Cattaneo OTHERS PRESENT: Tom Hopper of Crafton, Tull & Associates PRELIMINARY PLAT OF PARADISE PLACE SUBDIVISION BRYANT DEVELOPMENT CO. - W OF CROSSOVER RD, S OF JOYCE ST The only item was a preliminary plat of Paradise Place Subdivision submitted by Wayne Bryant of Bryant Development Co. and represented by Tom Hopper of Crafton, Tull & Associates. Property is zoned R-2, Medium Density Residential with 18.7 acres with 32 proposed lots. TOM HOPPER - REPRESENTATIVE Hopper stated that there is an extra wide gas easement through there that they will have to vacate. They do have 25' on each side of the gas line and it has been located. He noted that he has two sets of plans to leave for Don Bunn to look over when he gets back in town. He stated that they have the fire hydrants located on the plat and if the Fire Chief has any problems with it, they want to know as soon as possible. TOM MCELROY - SOUTHWESTERN BELL TELEPHONE McElroy stated that all the easements shown are satisfactory, but will need one additional small easement on lot 7 on the east property line adjacent to the water easement. RICK EVANS - ARKANSAS WESTERN GAS Evans stated that easements as shown are fine as shown and with the one requested by Southwestern Bell, everything is satisfactory. LISA COX - PARKS AND RECREATION Cox advised that the greenspace land requirement is .4 acres with the money in lieu being $3,360. The Parks Board will meet on January 8 at 5 p.m. JIM CROWNOVER - OZARK ELECTRIC Crownover stated that he had no problems with this as it is shown. • • • Plat Review December 21, 1989 Page 2 PERRY FRANKLIN - TRAFFIC SUPERINTENDENT Franklin was unable to attend the Plat Review meeting but he commented that they need to be careful about any plantings, etc. that they plan to put at the intersections. ELAINE CATTANEO - CITY PLANNING SECRETARY Cattaneo advised that Don Bunn, City Engineer, has been out of town so he has given his comments yet. She added that she did not hear from Mickey Jackson, Fire Chief, on this as of yet.
