HomeMy WebLinkAbout1988-08-25 Minutes• MINUTES OF A PLAT REVIEW MEETING A meeting of the Fayetteville Plat Review Committee was held on Thursday, August 25, 1988 in Room 111 of the City Administration Building, 113 West Mountain Street, Fayetteville, Arkansas. UTILITY REPRESENTATIVES* Dennis Burrack, Andy Reese, Tom McElroy and Rick Evans CITY REPRESENTATIVES• Tracy Metzger & Elaine Cattaneo OTHERS PRESENT: Andy Kitsinger LARGE SCALE DEVELOPMENT PLAN - EAST OAKS APARTMENTS LINDSEY CONSTRUCTION - N OF HWY 45 & E OF EAST OAKS The only item of consideration was a Large Scale Development Plan for East Oaks Apartments submitted by Lindsey Construction and represented by Andy Kitsinger of Fugitt & Associates. Property located north of Highway 45 and east of East Oaks Drive and zoned R-0, Residential -Office. DENNIS BURRACK - SWEPCO He stated that they would handle this complex in the same way as the earlier ones that have gone in out there. There is an existing transformer_.os._the_north corner that is feeding the previous apartments. They will have to put in a transformer on the southeast corner of this property with pedestals outside the two buildings up against East Oaks Drive. Lighting will be on the same sort of contract as the previous ones and the costs will probably be the same. No problem. ANDY REESE - WARNER CABLE He stated that they have existing facilities on the lower west and east sides of this project and will supply it in the same way as for the previous complexes there. Please notify the cable company when they are ready to pre -wire. No problems. TOM MCELROY - SOUTHWESTERN BELL He stated that they will service from the east easement and in the existing route that they show on the buildings. Call when they get ready to pre -wire. RICK EVANS - ARKANSAS WESTERN GAS • He stated that they have a gas line on the north side of the property, but he had talked to them and they didn't want any gas. las • • • Plat Review August 25, 1988 Page 2 TRACY METZGER - PARKS DEPARTMENT She stated that this is in the NE Park District. With 56 multi -family units the greenspace requirement is .56 acres and the money in lieu is $4,760. The next Parks Board meeting is August 29 at 5:00 p.m., City Hall- Room 329. PERRY FRANKLIN - TRAFFIC DEPARTMENT He was unable to attend the meeting but he advised that they weren't allowed to put any landscaping higher than 30" within 25' of the intersections or ingress/egress. WALLY BRT - SANITATION SUPERINTENDENT He was unable to attend the meeting but he commented that the dumpster pads were o.k. DON BUNN - CITY ENGINEER He was unable to attend the meeting but he commented that shown were fine. This will go to the Subdivision Committee meeting on September 7 at 10:30 a.m. and to the Planning Commission on September 12 at 5:00 p.m. IaCo
