MINUTES OF A PLAT REVIEW MEETING
A meeting of the Fayetteville Plat Review Committee was held on
Thursday, May 21, 1987 in Room 111 of the City Administration
Building, 113 West Mountain Street, Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Dennis Burrack, Tom Mcllroy
and Kenneth Wagner
Sandra Carlisle and Tessi
Franzmeier
FINAL PLAT - VALLEY SUBDIVISION
OLD WIRE RD. SOUTH OF ELMWOOD - SAM MATHIAS
The only item of consideration was the final plat of the Valley
Subdivision located on Old Wire Road south of Elmwood, and
submitted by Sam Mathias. The 8.75 acres is zoned R-1, Low
Density Residential District.
DENNIS BURRACK - SWEPCO
Burrack advised that all electrical facilities have been
installed, and all easements were adequate. He said if the
street lights were not in as shown they would be as:of'•tonight.,
KENNETH WAGNER - ARKANSAS WESTERN GAS
Wagner said the easements were adequate, and they have a job to
install gas service.
TOM MCILROY - SOUTHWESTERN BELL
Mcllroy said the all phone service was in, and saw no other
problems.
SANDRA CARLISLE - PLANNING DIRECTOR
Carlisle advised the street lighting was fine. She said the
Water and Sewer Department requested that the water meter boxes
must be maintained by the owner/developer for one year. She
added that Mr. Mathias would need to check with Don Bunn on that
arrangement.
Carlisle asked about the sidewalks, and Bud Tomlinson said there
was a note on the final plat which said every lot owner would

install their own sidewalk. Carlisle asked about the Parks Fee
and Mr. Tomlinson said they proposed to pay the entire fee.
Carlisle requested a contract in lieu of the remaining
improvements. She said the City would release the lots as they
were built upon with periodic inspections.
Carlisle advised the Planning Commission meeting would be on June
8, 1987 at 5:00 p.m., she also requested 10 plats on or before
Monday June 1, 1987.
