UTILITY REPRESENTATIVES PRESENT: Kenneth Wagner and Ivan Faulkner CITY REPRESENTATIVES PRESENT: Larry Poage and Paula Brandeis L. A. BRUSH MFG. CO. (LSD) 1501 S. ARMSTRONG - F'VILLE IND. PARK The only item for consideration today was the amended plat of L. A. Brush Mfg. Co. located at 1501 S. Armstrong Rd. in Fayetteville Industrial Park, zoned I-2; represented by Bill Lichlyter and "Butch" Green. KENNETH WAGNER - ARKANSAS WESTERN GAS Wagner stated that, with the additional gas load expected, a larger meter will need to be installed and that the riser near the meter will need to moved a little. He said there are two high pressure gas lines (not one as shown) parallel to each other within about 6 feet, and parallel to Industrial Place. Wagner said he will mark these lines and he requested to be notified before any digging takes place. IVAN FAULKNER - SWEPCO Faulkner clarified with Lichlyter that a 600 amp load will be added to serve the new addition and he said he would confer with the electrician regarding service. He inquired whether overhead service would be continued and Lichlyter replied that it would. LARRY POAGE - FIRE INSPECTOR Poage advised that, if an exit door is proposed adjacent to the parking area, he does not want the parking to be up against said door. He added that a PIV valve will need to be added because, under a new Arkansas law, a new zone is required (for the additional footage). BOBBIE JONES - PLANNING ADMINISTRATOR Jones was unable to attend but sent comments as follows: she said if the only change in this plat since a permit was approved, is an additional driveway and the new driveway meets the safety zone requirement while not decreasing the number of parking spaces, it will be acceptable. There were no other comments addressing this plat and the meeting adjourned at 9:30 A.M. 169
