MINUTES OF A PLAT REVIEW COMMITTEE MEETING
A meeting of the Fayetteville Plat Review Committee was held at 9:15
A. M., Thursday, February 17, 1977, in the Board of Directors Room,
City Administration Building, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
CITY REPRESENTATIVES PRESENT: Clayton Powell, Wally Brt, Bobbie Jones, Angie Medlock.
UTILITY REPRESENTATIVES PRESENT: Clyde Terry.
DEVELOPERS AND/OR ENGINEERS PRESENT: Dan Epperly.
The only item for discussion was the proposed addition to
the Epperly Greenhouses, a conditional use in R-1, and a
Large Scale Development.
EPPERLY GREENHOUSES
1. Wally Brt (Sanitation Superintendent): The containers are already adequate.
No problems.
2. Clyde Terry (Warner Cable): Mr. Epperly doesn't request T. V. service.
3. Clayton Powell (Street Superintendent): The additional right-of-way for Mt.
Comfort Road is satisfactory. An additional water line easement is shown along
Mt. Comfort. There are no problems.
4. Larry Wood (Planning Consultant): Not present. No comments.
5. Frank O'Donnell (Arkansas Western Gas): Not present. Said he has talked with
Mr. Epperly and there are no problems.
6. James Crownover (Ozarks Electric): Not present. Said he has talked with Mr.
Epperly and there are no problems.
7. Charles McWhorter (Fire Chief): Not present. No comments.
8. Bobbie Jones (Planning Administrator): Asked Mr. Epperly if he has had a survey
on his property which would indicate how much of his description lies in Mount
Comfort Road. He said "no". She said the Ordinance requires that he give an
easement for 30 feet right-of-way from the centerline of Mount Comfort Road.
She said she would have City Attorney Jim McCord draw up a legal description
from the plat book for Mr. Epperly. This will go to the Planning Commission
for a conditional use and the Subdivision Committee for a large scale develop-
ment on February 28, 1977.
9. Scott Martin (Acting City Engineer): Not present. Said he had talked with
Mr. Epperly and his plans are contingent on the City installing an 8 -inch water
line across the north edge of his property.
The meeting was concluded at 9:35 A. M.
