Fayetteville, Arkansas.
/5
Present: Bobbie Jones, Clayton Powell.
Utility Representatives: Clyde Terry, Frank O'Donnell, David Tucker.
Engineers and/or Developers: Harrison Davis.
The meeting was held to review the proposed Final Plat of a Replat of MEADOWLARK
a Part of Lots 2, Block 6, and all of Lot 3, Block 7, Meadowlark Addition. Replat of
Harrison Davis and Edward Hancock are subdividers. Comments were as of Blocks
follows:
ADD.
Part
6&7
Final Plat
1. Clyde Terry: No problems. Will serve. either overhead or underground.
2. Frank O'Donnell: May need to talk to subdivider about widening
the easement between Lots 1 and 2, Block 7 which is not part of
this subdivision.
3. Clayton Powell: Comments the same as on the preliminary plat. I£
the Planning Commission and Board of Directors want to go along with
waiving everything, we will have another public problem down there
the City will have to correct. As soon as the first house is built
and occupied the owner will call complaining and we will have to drop
everything and go correct it if it is not done by the developer.
(Mr. Powell left the meeting at 1;23 P.M.)
Harrison Davis arrived at the meeting at 1:25 P.M. and was read the comments
of Mr. Powell. Mr. Davis told Mr. O'Donnell and Mr. Terry that they did
also own Lots 1 and 2 of Block 7. Mr. O'Donnell and Mr. Terry told him it
might be necessary to widen the easement between those two lots.
4. David Tucker: The telephone company would like to go underground
if we can. There is going to be a problem on this 10 ft. easement
North of this. Requested easement on Lot 1 be increased to 12i
ft. The telephone company would be glad to execute the easement
and record it.
Paul Mattke was not present but had presented a letter with his comments.
Herbert Holcomb was not present but had called the Planning Office and
stated that the customer is going to write a letter requesting overhead
service only. The easement and plat is adequate as platted. Everything
is satisfactory.
The meeting was adjourned at 1:50 P.M.
