HomeMy WebLinkAbout1973-06-13 Minutes1tA :• .• MINUTES OF A PLAT REVIEW COMMITTEE MEETING The Fayetteville Plat Review Committee met at 1:15 P.M., Wednesday, June 13, 1973, in the Directors Room, City Administration Building, Fayetteville, Arkansas. /5 Present: Bobbie Jones, Clayton Powell. Utility Representatives: Clyde Terry, Frank O'Donnell, David Tucker. Engineers and/or Developers: Harrison Davis. The meeting was held to review the proposed Final Plat of a Replat of MEADOWLARK a Part of Lots 2, Block 6, and all of Lot 3, Block 7, Meadowlark Addition. Replat of Harrison Davis and Edward Hancock are subdividers. Comments were as of Blocks follows: ADD. Part 6&7 Final Plat 1. Clyde Terry: No problems. Will serve. either overhead or underground. 2. Frank O'Donnell: May need to talk to subdivider about widening the easement between Lots 1 and 2, Block 7 which is not part of this subdivision. 3. Clayton Powell: Comments the same as on the preliminary plat. I£ the Planning Commission and Board of Directors want to go along with waiving everything, we will have another public problem down there the City will have to correct. As soon as the first house is built and occupied the owner will call complaining and we will have to drop everything and go correct it if it is not done by the developer. (Mr. Powell left the meeting at 1;23 P.M.) Harrison Davis arrived at the meeting at 1:25 P.M. and was read the comments of Mr. Powell. Mr. Davis told Mr. O'Donnell and Mr. Terry that they did also own Lots 1 and 2 of Block 7. Mr. O'Donnell and Mr. Terry told him it might be necessary to widen the easement between those two lots. 4. David Tucker: The telephone company would like to go underground if we can. There is going to be a problem on this 10 ft. easement North of this. Requested easement on Lot 1 be increased to 12i ft. The telephone company would be glad to execute the easement and record it. Paul Mattke was not present but had presented a letter with his comments. Herbert Holcomb was not present but had called the Planning Office and stated that the customer is going to write a letter requesting overhead service only. The easement and plat is adequate as platted. Everything is satisfactory. The meeting was adjourned at 1:50 P.M.
