• The Fayetteville Plat Review Committee met at 3:30 P.M., Wednesday,
September 1, 1971, in the Office -o£ City.,Planning, City Administration
Building, Fayetteville, Arkansas,
Present: Paul Mattke, Doug Williford, Clyde Terry, David Tucker, Harold
Lieberenz.
The only matter for review at this meeting was a proposed subdivision
outside the City Limits but within the City Planning Area and located in PROPOSED GENE
Section 29, T -17-N, R-30-4, West of Highway 112, and North of West Salem GARRETT SUBD.
Road, and submitted by Gene Garrett. Comments were as follows: Outside City
1. Paul Mattke: No water, sewer, etc. available in this area.
Mr. Mattke_did_not recommend even this density of housing without
sewer services. There is not enough development in this area to
justify utility services for at least 10 years.
2. Clyde Terry: No cable TV service near there nor none in the
immediate plans. Still would like easements for future services
centered down the backs of the lots.
3. David Tucker: Requested easement of 15 ft, off street right-of-way
and down East side for underground service: Service is not in the
immediate area now, but is not too far away and can be put in. Also,
requested 20 ft. easement centered down the backs of the lots to be
` used by both telephone and TV. Also, a 10 ft. easement off the West
side of lot 5 to get back onto the county road on the North.

4. Doug Williford: Can't tell about drainage as there is no topography
shown. Street widths and radil�okay. (Checked U.S.G.S. map; overall
topo fairly good.)
5. Jack Whitting: Was not present, but called in the following: Need
a 16 ft. easement on the East and 'Zi& sides along the street right-
of-way. Individual easements from service line to individual houses
will be contracted when houses are built. Have an existing overhead
line on the North side of new County road. If they want service

the entire subdivision. --
6. Harold Lieberenz: Lot sizes and widths meet subdivision requirement's.
No street names shown. Will streets be paved? Need signatures of
adjoining property owners.
