THE PLANNING COMMISSION
Monday, September 14, 1992 at 5:00 p.m., in the City Administration
Building, Directors Room, second floor, 113 W. Mountain St.,
Fayetteville, Arkansas.
BUSINESS:
1. Approval of the minutes on the regular Planning
Commission meeting of August 10, 1992 and August
24, 1992.
2. REZONING R92-30:
CONDITIONAL USE CU92-21:
LARGE SCALE DEVELOPMENT - RIDEOUT HOME CENTER:
Submitted by Jim Lindsey on behalf of E.J. Ball.
LSD is represented by Neal Albright. Property is
located on the west side of Crossover Rd., north of
Mission Blvd. and contains 5 acres.
Request is to rezone 5 acres from C-1, Neighborhood
Commercial to C-2, Thoroughfare Commercial and get
a conditional use for a building materials center
in C-2 to be developed as a large scale
development.
3 CONDITIONAL USE CU92-22:
LARGE SCALE DEVELOPMENT-OAKSHIRE EAST APARTMENTS:
Submitted by Kirk Elsass. LSD is represented by
Rick Simmons. Property is located on the south
side of Kantz Ln., west of Crossover Rd. and
contains 1.4 acres. Property is zoned R -O,
Residential - Office.
Request is for a conditional use for a 36 Unit
apartment complex in R -O, Residential - Office to
be developed as a large scale development.
4. PRELIMINARY PLAT - NORTHWEST ACRES PH. II:
Submitted by Harry Gray on behalf of Jeff Allen.
Property is located off Carriage Way, north of
Wedington Dr. Property is zoned R-2, Medium
Density Residential and contains 4.63 acres with 18
lots.

5. PRELIMINARY PLAT - MISSION BLVD. SUBDIVISION:
Submitted by Dave Jorgensen on behalf of Gordon
Wilkins. Property is located on the south side of
Mission Blvd., west of Crossover Rd. Property is
zoned R-1, Low Density Residential and contains
9.65 acres with 32 lots.
6. PRELIMINARY PLAT - CROSSOVER HEIGHTS PH. II:
Submitted by Dave Jorgensen on behalf of Dick &
Bill Keating. Property is located east of
Crossover Rd., north side of Whippoorwill.
Property is zoned R-2, Medium Density Residential
and contains 20 lots.
7. LOT SPLITS #2 & #3:
CONDITIONAL USE CU92-18, CU92-19 & CU92-20:
Submitted by Frances Langham and represented by
Harry Gray. Property is located on the northeast
corner of Old Missouri Rd. & Errol St. Property is
zoned R-1, Low Density Residential.
Request is for two lot splits and for a conditional
use for one duplex on each of the three lots
created.
8. CONDITIONAL USE CU92-23 - TEMPORARY REAL ESTATE
OFFICE: Submitted by Wade Bishop. Property is
located on the southeast corner of Appleby Rd. and
Quail Creek Dr. and is zoned R-1.5, Moderate
Density Residential.
9 LOT SPLITS #1 & #2: Submitted by Mel Milholland on
behalf of Bobby Lee Ennis. Property is located
north of Zion Rd., east of Crossover Rd. and is
outside city limits.
