To: City Planning Commission
From: John F. Merrell, Planning Management Director/
Date: January 5, 1990
Subject: Agenda Packet for January 8. 1990 Meeting
Please accept our apologies for the late delivery of this agenda packet and for the
fact that several items are not accompanied with our normal report. The City's
budget review process. finalization of the CIP, and the holidays were all factors.
The Planning Management Department has also recently been hit hard with a death
in Don Bunn's family, illnesses of Don and myself, Elaine Cattaneo's resignation,
and an apparent delay in the hiring of our new Associate Planner.
We will do our best to present an oral summary and recommendation at the meeting
on the preliminary plat. LSD. and the several lot splits which are on our January
B agenda.
Please remember that our meeting will be held in Room 326 on the third floor of
City Hall. This move was necessitated by the scheduling of a public hearing by the
Board of Directors on the same evening.
