MEMBERS PRESENT: MEMBERS ABSENT: OTHERS PRESENT: the Fayetteville Planning Commission was 5:00 p.m. in Room 111 of the City 113 West Mountain Street, Fayetteville, Ernie Jacks, Gerald Seiff, Stan Green Frank Farrish, Fred Hanna, B.J. Dow, Butch Robertson and Sue Madison and Julie Nash Larry Wood, Franzmeier Sandra Carlisle and Tessi RESIDENTIAL LAND USE (GOALS) OLD VERSION 1. Adequate housing should be built for all citizens at a price they can afford, including low income groups. 2. A wider choice of housing types and neighborhoods should be offered to all income groups. 3. The deterioration of neighborhoods should be stopped and remodeling of older structures that are sound should be accommodated. 4. Encourage new types of neighborhoods that use facilities and terrain more efficiently. public 5. The housing supply should keep pace with population. STANDARDS 1. Community facilities and public services should be related to the density and pattern of each neighborhood. 2. Existing and proposed residential areas should be protected from encroachment. 3. Well defined neighborhoods conveniently related to the playgrounds, shopping areas and should be planned and street system, schools, and places of employment.
