HomeMy WebLinkAbout1974-12-23 MinutesMINUTES OF A SPECIAL PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING A special meeting of the Fayetteville Planning Commission was held December 23, 1974 at 9:05 A. M. in the Board of Directors Room, City Administration Building, Fayetteville, Arkansas. MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman Morton Gitelman, Ernest Jacks, Helen Edmiston, Al Hughes, Ernest Lancaster, John Power. MEMBERS ABSENT: John Maguire, Donald Nickell, Rita Davis. OTHERS PRESENT: Mayor Purdy, Warren Segraves, Bobbie Jones, Janet Bowen. Chairman Gitelman called the special meeting of the Planning Commission to order. BALDWIN PIANO COMPANY Beechwood Avenue The only item to be discussed by the Planning Commission was a Large Scale Development Plan of Baldwin Piano Company on Beechwood Avenue for a proposed 100,000 square feet addition to be used mainly for storage, but which would have some office space in it, and also a separate meeting room. Ernest Jacks gave the Subdivision Committee Report. He said there were no problems and that the Subdivision Committee was ready to recommend approval of the Large Scale Development Plan for Baldwin Piano based on them being in agreement with the City. Since there were no problems with this Large Scale Development Ernest Jacks moved to approve the Large Scale Development for Baldwin Piano based on the above. Helen Edmiston seconded the motion;the motion carried unanimously by a vote of 6-0. There was no further discussion. The meeting was adjourned at 9:07 A. M.
