HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-09-30 Minutes• • 10 MINUTES OF A PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING The Planning Commission met at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 30, 1969, in the Directors Room of the City Administration Building, Fayetteville, Arkansas, Members Present: Ernest Jacks, Dr. Walter Brown, Allan Gilbert,. Morton Gitelman, Roy Clinton, Dr. James Mashburn. Members Absent: Wade Fincher, Byron Boyd, Clark McClinton, Others Present: Wesley Howe, Jim Vizzier, Ed Clement. The purpose of this meeting was to bring the Committee up to date on two phases of the planning work being conducted by Jim Vizzier. The first item presented by Mr. Jim Vizzier, Planning Consultant, was the Public Buildings Inventory and Needs. The second item to be presented was the Public Utilities Plan (Water, Sewer, Drainage.) There followed a short discussion of both plans. Ernest Jacks moved to approve the Public Buildings Inventory and Needs Plan and the Public Utilities Plan for publication as shown subject to correction and revision at a later date. Dr. James Mashburn seconded the motion. It was approved unanimously. Mr. Allan Gilbert, Vice -Chairman, announced the appointment of two committees: 1. To study the revised zoning mapw Ernest Jacks., Chairman Dr. James Mashburn Byron Boyd Allan Gilbert 2. To review zoning ordinances and subdivision regulations: Morton Gitelman, Chairman Dr. Walter Brown Roy Clinton Wade Fincher Mr. Clark McClinton, Planning Commission Chairman, is to serve as ex -officio member of each of these committees. A meeting was called for Tuesday, October 14, 1969, at 4:00 P.M. to hear reports of these special committees. The meeting was adjourned at 5:25 P.M.
