MINUTES OF A PLANNING COMMISSION CALL MEETING
aThe Planning Commission met for a call meeting at 4:00 p.m., Friday, December 20
1968.
Members Present: Clark McClinton, Wade Fincher, Roy Clinton, Byron Boyd,
Morton Gitelman
Members Absent: Ernest Jacks, Allan Gilbert, James Mashburn, Walter Brown
Others Present: Harold Lieberena
The meeting was called to order by the Chairman, Clark McClinton.
The only item of business was the Final Plat of Ramsey Addition.
Mr. McClinton stated that on May 3, 19662 the Planning Commission approved the
preliminary plat of Ramsey Addition, but since that time no work has been done
to complete procedures on the Subdivision and now the owner of the property
has an opportunity to sell the.property, subject to Planning Commission approval
of the Final Plat. Mr. McClinton further stated that this property is located
across from Root Elementary School.
The Chairman then read the minutes of the May 30 1966 Planning Commission
meeting concerning the street in Ramsey Addition.
Harold Lieberens, City Building Inspector, presented the plat of Ramsey Addition
• to the Planning Commission and stated that the actual acceptance of the preliminary
plat was given on October 25, 1966.
Wade Fincher stated that the street in Ramsey Addition, though not paved, is
now in existance.
Mr. Lieberens told the Commission members that a plan had been presented to
the City Engineer today to pave the entire street from Mission Street on and
that the street as proposed called for a 40 foot street with a 45 degree turning
radia.
After more discussion on the plat Morton Gitelman made a motion to accept the
Final Plat of Ramsey Addition. The motion was seconded by Byron Boyd and
approved unanimously.
There being no further business the meeting was adjouroed at 4:20 p.m.
