MINUTES OF A CITY PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING
The City Planning Commission met in a special evening meeting at 7:00 P? M.,
July 23, 1968 in the Directors' Room of the City Administration Building,
City of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Members Present: James Mashburn, Walter Brown, Allan Gilbert, Ernest Jacks,
M orton Gitelman, Roy Clinton, Byron Boyd
Members Absent: Wade Fincher, Clark McClinton
Others Present: Jim Visaier, Harold Lieberene, Sturman Mackey
The meeting was called to order by Vice -Chairman, Allan Gilbert.
The meeting Was then turned over to Jim Visaier. He presented some mans
indicating some "ideal desire lines" of travel which would best serve the
nonulation of Fayetteville as far as street traffic is concerned.
Mr. Visaier discussed land use and its relationship with the traffic study
which is being made of the Ci$6 by his Sffice.
There was a lengthy discussion of the needs for various high and low density
land uses within the City
Jim Visaier discussed a downtown parking study that he hhd been making in
the nast few months.
Allan Gilbeittrstated that it was 9:00 P. M. and time to close the meeting.
The meeting was adjourned.
