The City Planning Commission met in a regular meeting at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday,
January 10, 1967, in the City Directors Room in the City Administration
Building, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Members Present: Clark McClinton, Ernest Jacks, Allan Gilbert, Suzanne
Lighton, Wade Fincher.
Members Absent: Henry Shreve, Bryan Walker, James Mashburn, Byron Boyd,
Others Present: Jim Hatfield, Jim Vizzier.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman, Clark McClinton.
The minutes for December 6, 1966, December 13, 1966, and December 15, 1966
were to be approved by the Planning Commission. Ernest Jacks moved these
minutes approved, seconded by Clark McClinton, and passed unanimously.
Mr. Jim Hatfield brought before the Planning Commission a plat that he plans
to subdivide in the future. He wanted to know if the subdivision regulations
that are now set up -:for the city would comply to this area being outside the
city. Mr. Hatfield asked if it would be his duty to put in curb and gutter,
or would this be the city's responsibility?
Allan Gilbert moved that Mr. Hatfield's plat be turned over to the Subdivision
• Committee for further consideration. The motion was seconded by Wade Fincher
and passed unanimously.
Mr. Vizzier reported that he had gotten a contract from the University of
Arkansas on Aerial Photography from American Aerial Surveys.
Mr. Vizzier also reported the Regional Planning Office was now established
in their office in Springdale, Arkansas.
There being.no further business, the meeting was adjourned..
