Mr. Jacks reported that although a quorum was not present, the public hearinj
on the two petitions before the Planning Connission would be held.
The first petition to be heard was that of the Second Baptist Church. The
petition requested the rezoning from R-3 Multi -Family Residential District
to P-lA Special Church District lots 1, 2, 3, and the east half of lots 4 and
5 of Block 1 in Ferguson's Addition to the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
The proponents were asked to be heard.
GEORGE GRAY represented the petition of the Second Baptist Church. Mr. Gray
said the church proposed future new construction and expansion.
• There were no opponents present.
There being no further discussion, Mr. Jacks declared the purpose of the public
hearing having been accomplished, the hearing on the petition of the Second
Baptist Church was closed.
The second petition heard was filed by J. E. Gabbard and Steve Wood. The
petitioners requested the rezoning from R4 Two Family Residential District
to R-3 Multi -Family Residential District lots 1, 2, 3, and 4 of Block 3 in
Valley Vista Subdivision in the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas. Mr. Jacks
asked the proponents to be heard.
